The future of KyokushinRyu was on full display as aspiring young fighters and emerging talents gathered for the KyokushinRyu Rizal Inter-Club All Novice Karate Tournament on March 22, 2026, at the Saint Monique Valais Townhouse Basketball Covered Court.

Exclusively designed for novice competitors from dojos across Rizal Province, the tournament provided a valuable opportunity for first-time and developing practitioners to experience the intensity, excitement, and discipline of competitive Kyokushin.

From the opening matches to the final bouts, participants demonstrated remarkable determination and courage as they stepped onto the competition area to test their skills against fellow practitioners. For many athletes, the event marked their first taste of tournament action, making every match an important learning experience and milestone in their martial arts journey.

The atmosphere throughout the venue reflected the true spirit of KyokushinRyu. Coaches, parents, and supporters cheered on competitors who displayed not only fighting ability but also respect, discipline, and sportsmanship—qualities that remain at the heart of traditional Budo training.

Beyond medals and trophies, the tournament served as a developmental platform aimed at building confidence and preparing novice fighters for future regional and national competitions. The event highlighted the steady growth of KyokushinRyu in Rizal Province and showcased the promising talent emerging from its local dojos.

The successful staging of the tournament was made possible through the dedication and leadership of Sensei Aldrin Sison, whose commitment to grassroots development created an environment where new competitors could challenge themselves and gain valuable competitive experience.

As the tournament concluded, athletes left with more than victories and lessons learned inside the ring. They carried with them the motivation to continue training, improve their skills, and uphold the values of KyokushinRyu in their daily lives.

The KyokushinRyu Rizal Inter-Club All Novice Karate Tournament stands as an important step in nurturing the next generation of Kyokushin practitioners, ensuring a bright future for the discipline in Rizal and beyond.
